Hey all,
I wanted to let everyone know that my super smart and talented brother is going to be teaching an online video game programming class this Summer. The games will be programmed in Javascript and HTML5, so you’ll be able to share your games with just about anyone in the world instantly! Woot!
Each day in the month-long course, starting in early June, Nathan will post lessons, coding challenges, sample code, and other cool content on the course website. His initial goal of $729 dollars has been met, but he’s in the process of working out some stretch goals. A $30 contribution gets you a spot in the class, a spot to host your game on the course website, and all of the course resources.
It’s important to note that the course is designed for people who have at least some experience in programming. You don’t have to know Javascript specifically, but you will want to have a familiarity with basic programming concepts and control structures. The syntax you can pick up from the lessons.
If you’d like to know more, head on over to Nathan’s Indiegogo page. As of the time of this writing, you’ve only got about three weeks to support the class, so get on over there!
I hope that you’ll join me in supporting a cool learning project. And I hope to see you all in June!
